J and A Stables offers three different choices for your boarding needs:
Pasture Board, Full-Care Board, and Partial Care.
We are located 3 miles from Erskine College and about 15 from Anderson and Lander. We have over 300 acres of trails, 12 x 13 stalls, a hotwalker, wash rack, large sand outdoor arena and round pen. We also have an indoor round pen for rainy or cold days.
PRICES:
Full care board — includes stall, turnout, blanketing, and exercise – $495.00 mo.
Pasture board — includes year round free choice of hay, grass, salt, and water -240.00 mo.
Partial Board — we provide the stall and feed and you are responsible for keeping the stalls clean, exercise, and grooming. $300.00 mo.
The vet comes every February and does coggins and all vaccinations at a reduced rate.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE HAVE HAD SOME GOOD YEARS AS FAR AS RAIN. SHOULD WE HAVE A DROUGHT AND HAVE TO HAVE HAY SHIPPED FROM UP NORTH – THE COST WILL BE PASSED ON TO THE BOARDERS. PRESENTLY, WE ARE PUTTING UP ALL OUR OWN HAY SO WE CAN CONTROL QUALITY – IT IS LIMED AND FERTILIZED EVERY YEAR.
