Any horses we sell are completely sound with no health issues. We buy only the best mares and geldings for our riding program. We do not buy any horses that bite, kick, or will be difficult to train. They are all regularly wormed, vaccinated, and hoof care is done every six weeks. To the best of our knowledge none of the horses owned by J and A Stables have ever foundered or had any bone or leg trouble. Any buyers are welcome to have any of them vet-checked before they purchase them. We recommend the horses be ridden at least twice before they are purchased. This way the buyer can be sure the horse is what they want and will give us a chance to watch you , as a buyer, interact with the horse. We do maintain the right to refuse sale if we think there might be a future problem; and/or do not feel you and the horse are a good match. Thank you for looking and keep on ridin'!!

"Lady" - 8 years old, double registered, bay roan mare. Great on trails and in the arena. Would make a good first horse for a woman or child. She is quiet, an easy keeper, and one of the best broodmares around. "Cyrus" (below) is her 2008 foal and "Val" (below) was her first foal. She is presently open but could be covered in the spring with our buckskin for a 2010 baby. She is 98% foundation bred with Jackie Bee on both sides. Comes from the Kimball Ranch in Oklahoma, so bred to work. SALE PENDING___________________________________________________
