MARES

Page 1

All our mares are chosen for their athletic ability, intelligence, and willingness to learn.  Any stallions or mares listed have proven show records and are on the mare's papers.  If the stallion is listed in "Blue" they are just off the papers.

"Shamu" is a six year old quarter horse mare.  Great riding horse with the kind of head and neck you want on your babies.  She has an excellent pedigree and she is strong for the black gene.  She will be bred to Joses Poco Peptolena for a 2011 foal - probably blue roan.

"Chics Full Throttle" is a 3 year old reining/cutting granddaughter of Smart Chic Olena.  She is bred well on top and bottom and is a wonderful all around horse.  We may take her out of showing next year and let her raise a foal.  Its hard not to pass on her bloodlines and great disposition!

Sonnys Silver Ash "Ash" is a 2006 Grullo mare.  We bought her when she was 6 months old from Minnesota.  She has a great pedigree and currently is my daughters show jumper/huntseat horse.  She will be showing in the IBHA next year.  Looking forward to crossing her with Joses Poco Peptolena or Bunnys Hickory Acre for a real athletic colt in the future.

Jacks Gold Diamond - "Macy" is my favorite mare.  She is incredibly sweet, never pushy, and always willing to give a good ride.  She has been bred to Bunny's Hickory Acre for 2011.  She has given us two buckskin babies out of him and they were absolutely beautiful.  Although Macy has a few points in halter and trail classes, she is used primarily as a trail mare and to raise babies.  She weighs 1350 so really puts strength and bulk in her offspring.

"Jacks Spur" - Macys Sire

"Joes Doc Chita" is really a sweet mare and well-bred.  She is currently being bred to Joses Poco Peptolena for an incentive fund foal in 2011 which will be athletic and smart.  Her daddy, Sugs Chita has had limited showing but won (NCHA $2684.)  She is a great trail mare and is currently being ridden about 4 days a week.  I do have her on my for sale page but if she doesn't sell, I'll get another great baby from her.  She was used as a roping mare but is now retired to trails and has become part of our brood mares.   Her price comes with one breeding to either of our studs.
